It has been over a month since we started planning to go to the new mountain resort in Talisay City, Negros Occidental called the Campuestohan Highlands. Perched on top of a hilly area, it is a cool place–a respite from the heat of the city. But since it is near Bacolod, it has become a favorite destination among families and groups looking for a weekend hideaway.
But the problem was, so many things kept coming up that up until now, our plans just keep getting rescheduled. I just thought of featuring them here because now, they are the newest and coolest weekend destination here in the Province of Negros Occidental.
The entrance fee to the resort is P150/pax for both children and adults. It includes swimming and use of amenities. They have cottages for rent, ranging from P600 (12 pax) to P1,000 (20 pax). They also have umbrella huts good for 10 pax at P500.
During weekends, they sell food for those who do not want to be bothered with preparing for their picnic foods.
The place has function hall, playground, and swimming pool. And it has a whole area where children can run around. It would also be nice to check out the different plant species in the vicinity. Children will definitely love this family-oriented getaway.
Here is the map going there. I would really love to go there soon, preferably on a weekday because there are so many people during weekends! So for Bacolodnons and Negrenses, Campuestohan Highlands is one good place to check out. For inquiries and reservations you may contact them through 09152111046.
